Q: The video I'm watching is lagging, what should I do?

A: Watch in fullscreen, if that doesn't help and you are using Chrome, then use Firefox. There are some HD streaming problems in Chrome. Also updating your graphics card drivers might help in reducing video lag, both Nvidia and ATI have improved their drivers in HD streaming in recent times.

Q: What are the minimum hardware requirments on PldX?

A: You most likely need a dual core CPU and a Nvidia 7000- series or better / ATI 1000-series or better.

Q: What is the minimum internet speed required to stream HD?

A: You need atleast a 2 Mbit download speed to stream HD. However a faster internet is recommended. SD can be streamed with a 1 Mbit internet.

Submitting a movie

Q: Am I allowed to submit a short clip?

A: No, we only accept movies and good trailers.

Q: How long will it take for my movie to be approved/declined?

A: It should be approved within 24 hours. However the better you fill in the details for the movie, then the faster it will be approved. It might take slightly longer for the movie to get declined.

Q: What are the quality restrictions for my movie?

Q: What are the recommended quality settings for movies?

A: Again check the submit page.

General

A: No you don't. You can watch as many movies as you like in HD as you want without registering. However you can only download one movie per day without registering. If you register then there isn't a download limit.
