General Information

PldX.com is proud to announce its first movie making competition and the first Team Fortress 2 movie making contest. The aim of this contest is to promote Team Fortress 2 in general, and try and increase the editing involved in Team Fortress 2 frag movies in general.

The contest is structured into two phases:

1. A demo gathering phase, in which all users can submit their own demos from clan wars and pcw's (sorry, no pickup or public footage). Please make sure to check that the demo works still (the classless update broke all demos recorded prior to it), and check the demo ticks in which the "movie worthy" frags appear, and list them under your demo submission.
2. After the demo gathering deadline is reached, participants of the movie contest (movie producers) can select which demos they wish to use from the submitted demos (and only from the submitted demos, so if you have a demo you wish to use, make sure to submit it for others to use as well).

The deadline for demo submitting is 15.9.2009 and the deadline for movie submissions will be announced soon, but movies can be submitted prior to the deadline, in which case they will become available before other entries. Let's get the show on the road, and start submitting demos. Make sure to rar up your demo files and do not include any other files than *.dem and *.txt files in the archive, and preferably upload 1 demo per archive!
